RIck Tivis and Barbara Gordon Collaborate with Boise State and St. Lukes on Research

Research conducted at the St. Luke’s Cystic Fibrosis Center of Idaho will be featured at the National American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (to be held October 18-20, 2018 in Denver).  The poster entitled, “The Evaluation of Food Insecurity in Adults and Children with Cystic Fibrosis” is the product of an inter-professional, inter-organizational, translational research collaboration. Rick Tivis, MPH, Assistant Director of ISU’s Idaho Center for Health Research, served as the project’s biostatistician. Barbara Gordon, MBA, RDN, LD, Director of Dietetic Programs, was instrumental in writing up the study results.  In addition to the poster, a manuscript has been submitted for publication; the verdict is pending.
