Dietetics Programs: Organizational Changes, New Faculty
The promotion of Laura McKnight, MPH, RDN, LD, to Dean of the College of Health Professions, led to some organizational changes and hiring of new faculty.
- Barbara Gordon, MBA, RDN, LD, who started with ISU in January 2018 as a part-time Clinical Instructor, is now Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Dietetics Programs. Gordon is based out of the Sam and Aline Skaggs Health Science Center at the ISU Meridian campus.
- Allisha Weedon, PhD, RDN, LD, assumed the role of the Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics. In this role, Dr. Weedon is responsible for ensuring the Bachelors of Science in Dietetics complies with the requirements of Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Jenifer Reader, MHE, RDN, LD, who has been an ISU adjunct professor since 2014, joined the Dietetics Programs as a full-time clinical assistant professor. Reader will also continue in her role as a guest lecturer for the ISU Department of Physician Assistant Studies.
