Interested students invited to Lunch with the College of Business to explore majors
March 28, 2018
POCATELLO – The College of Business at Idaho State University will host an informational Lunch with the College of Business event for all students who are interested in learning more about its programs on April 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Wood River Rooms.
All current or incoming ISU students from any major are invited to event. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the majors and degree programs that the College of Business has to offer, receive professional advice and have their questions answered. In particular, students who are undecided about their college major or future career can expect to gain valuable information about each College of Business major and the associated career opportunities.
Students will also network with faculty and build professional connections.
"It's never too early to build your network," said Sophia Perry, College of Business peer advisor, who is helping to plan the event. “As students meet and talk with faculty members and other student advisors within each program they will know they have support going forward in their collegiate career."
Perry is a junior at the College of Business studying business management.
Lunch will be provided as well as several prizes: as students talk with faculty members, they will receive raffle tickets for a chance to win a FitBit or one of two gift cards worth $25 each.
Previously called Meet the Faculty, the Lunch with the College of Business event has widened its net to include all current and prospective students from any major who want to learn more about the College of Business programs and classes.
