Dianne Piggott and Jodi Dunn are featured speakers at “Transgender Day of Resilience" at ISU Nov. 27

POCATELLO – The Idaho State University Gender Resource Center will host speakers Dianne Piggott and Jodi Dunn addressing “Transgender Day of Resilience – A Personal Perspective of Being Transgender in 2018” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 27 in the Pond Student Union Wood River Room.

Piggott is a graduate student in the ISU Department of Counseling at ISU-Meridian. She is a trans advocate and has been the master of ceremonies for the Boise Pridefest. She served in a summer fellowship with the ACLU and has worked extensively with trans groups in the Boise area.

Dunn graduated from Idaho State University with his master’s degree in 2017.  He is an inspirational speaker and served in the U.S. Army. He will speak about his experience as a trans man in today’s political climate.
