Department of Military Sciences welcomes new military instructor
Sergeant First Class Ian Parker has taken a new post as military instructor in the Department of Military Sciences.
Parker brings to ISU over 15 years of experience, having provided security at the Pentagon, served in Germany, Korea and Iraq, earned an associate degree in criminal
justice from Central Texas College and acted as a recruiter, squad leader and platoon sergeant.
In the department, Parker will teach second- and third- level Military Science and Leadership courses and tactical laboratory classes. He will also mentor the Ranger Challenge course and ROTC Color Guard team.
