Kellee J. Kirkpatrick named Public Policy Chair for the Midwest Political Science Association
Dr. Kellee J. Kirkpatrick was recently named the Public Policy Chair for the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA). In this role, she is responsible for accepting and rejecting paper, poster and panel proposals, for recruiting and assigning discussant and chair roles for panels, for organizing roundtables, and for planning meet-the-author panels for the Public Policy section. The MPSA receives thousands of proposals and has the most research papers presented of any conference in the discipline, making it the largest political science conference in the world. As a gatekeeper for scholarship in the subfield, Dr. Kirkpatrick will play an important role in shaping and furthering public policy scholarship.
