MyVA Rural Veterans Community Forum set Aug. 2 at Idaho State University

POCATELLO – The MyVA Rural Veterans Community Forum will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2 in the Idaho State University Pond Student Union Ballroom in Pocatello.
The intent of this forum is to develop an opportunity to improve the veterans' experience by bringing together the community, connecting veterans and their supporters with resources, and by engaging community stakeholders to ask questions, raise concerns and provide feedback and input in an open dialog.
The public forum for all veterans, service-members and their families is part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MyVA initiative and is also sponsored by the Idaho Division of Veterans Services and Idaho Veterans, Service-Members and Families Coordination Council. It is part of an initiative to improve Idaho veterans' experiences with the VA.
The engagement board/panel will include representatives from the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, Boise VA Regional Office, Idaho Division of Veterans Services, Pocatello Vet Centers, U.S. and Idaho Department of Labor, Veterans Treatment Court and more.
