The first changes will appear in BengalWeb the last week of April. Email notifications will be sent out to keep the campus community apprised of changes as they occur.
These updates are part of a multi-year project in which all modules within Banner will be updated. During this period, the old and new versions of Banner will overlap, until Banner 9 is completely implemented.
“We are excited to announce these upcoming changes, and look forward to offering new tools to students, faculty, and staff,” said Kim Channpraseut, Enterprise Applications Manager for ITS.
The Banner 9 updates focus on several aspects, including:
- Improved usability through modern user interfaces and technologies
- Common menus, searching, and mobile friendly offerings
- Improved self-service tools
