Elizabeth Cartwright Mentors Doctoral Fellows at InterAmerican Foundation Program

Dr. Elizabeth Cartwright, Department of Anthropology, has just returned from Queretaro, Mexico where she was mentoring Doctoral Fellows in the InterAmerican Foundation (IAF) program.  The PhD Fellows are top social science students from the most competitive US universities who are currently carrying out their research projects all over Latin America.  Cartwright spent the week reviewing their progress and fine-tuning their research projects with them. She does this in the capacity of being a member of the IAF's Academic Review Committee, which she has participated on for 9 years. She also gave a workshop to the participants entitled, "Videography for Researchers".
