Idaho State University Appoints Academic Advisor to College of Eastern Idaho Campus

In partnership with College of Eastern Idaho, Idaho State University has appointed an academic advisor and program coordinator to be housed at the College of Eastern Idaho.
Michelle Munoz will provide academic advising for CEI freshmen and sophomore students who want to transition to Idaho State University to complete their bachelor degrees. She will coordinate with University programs offering 2+2 degree plans. These plans assure students a smooth transition to ISU by creating clear pathways to degree attainment and ensuring the transfer of coursework towards ISU bachelor’s degrees. Munoz’s duties will also include advising and assistance in course selection, registration, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, campus resources, ISU policies, and major/career exploration.
This new position will help Idaho Falls residents to pursue educational goals close to home. Munoz has already begun advising students as to which classes at CEI will best fulfill the requirements of bachelor degree programs at ISU. She has extensive advising experience, and has worked as an ISU academic advisor in both Pocatello and Idaho Falls.
