Melissa Caudle named 2017 SHAPE Idaho Outstanding Collegiate Educator
Melissa Caudle, instructor and accreditation specialist in the Department of Community and Public Health, was named the 2017 SHAPE Idaho Collegiate Educator of the Year.
Caudle was chosen from among a pool of her peers across the state. Since beginning her position in the Idaho State University Department of Community and Public Health in 2015, Caudle has taught up to 16 credits per semester, coordinates student practicums for all Health Education students, and serves as the primary academic advisor for all Health Education Community/Worksite Emphasis students. She serves as the Department of Community and Public Health’s faculty liaison for the ISU Early College Program, oversees student recruitment and retention for the department, advises the Public Health Student Association, and ensures that the Master of Public Health program maintains accreditation status.
