POCATELLO – Clinical psychologist, actor and poet Michael Fowlin, better known as Mykee, will perform his one-man presentation “You Don’t Know Me Until You Know Me” on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Idaho State University Pond Student Union Ballroom.

Headshot of Michael FowlinThe ISU Diversity Resource Center will host this event.

His programs combine his psychological training and professional acting talents to create an atmosphere of worldwide inclusion, not just tolerance, towards all people.

In “You Don’t Know Me Until You Know Me,” Fowlin encourages the audience to reexamine core beliefs instilled as early as the first grade.

He uses humor, performance art, poetry, storytelling, monologues and his personal journey to create a moving experience that celebrates diversity.

Fowlin hopes all audience members will leave his performances ready to see the beauty in themselves and others as well as celebrate cultural differences and accept our shared experiences.
