ISU 2016 Homecoming Kickoff Celebration set Sept.22

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Alumni Board of Directors and Alumni Association will host their annual Alumni Homecoming Kickoff event, Sept. 22 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Kulak Crossfit, 4841 Clover Dell Road in Chubbuck.
This event is free and open to the public, chamber members, alumni and the campus community. The event is in partnership with the Pocatello and Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours.
The food is free and beverages of all kinds will be available for purchase. There will be unique raffle items and a limited number of silent auction items will be available for bidding. Raffle tickets for the Bengal Bite Bucket and the Bengal Spirit Bucket will also be available for purchase.
New additions to this year’s event include a variety of food from sponsors including Texas Roadhouse, Ruby Tuesdays, Nosh Mahal, Chartwell’s Dining, McDonald’s, Pizza Pie Café and Jamba Juice. Other sponsors include Kulak Crossfit, Idaho Central Credit Union, Dr. Richard Fellows, Liberty Mutual Insurance, lendEDU and the Orange & Black Store.
Benny the Bengal and the Pocatello Chiefs will conduct the official ribbon cutting at 5:15 p.m. and the Bengal Dancers and the ISU marching band will both perform. Members of the ISU men’s basketball team, women’s volleyball team and track and field athletes will all be on hand selling raffle tickets and hosting a variety of games for guests.
