DJ Williams Presents Paper at Annual Conference

DJ Williams, associate professor in the Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Criminology, recently presented a paper titled, "Expanding multidisciplinarity: Can leisure science contribute to a more complete understanding of serial homicide," at the Annual Meeting of the Homicide Research Working Group in St. Louis. This theoretical paper drew considerable interest from leading academics and FBI behavioral science analysts. Dr. Williams also coauthored a book chapter with John Edgar Browning (Georgia Institute of Technology) on forensics and human vampires that was recently published in Criminal Humanities & Forensic Semiotics, Volume 2 (Peter Lang Publishing), edited by Michael Arntfield (Western University, Ontario) and Marcel Danesi (University of Toronto).
