Kellee J. Kirkpatrick elected as the Communications Director of the Midwest Women's Caucus for Political Science
Dr. Kellee J. Kirkpatrick, assistant professor in the Political Science Department, was recently elected as the Communications Director of the Midwest Women's Caucus for Political Science. As the communications director, Dr. Kirkpatrick will be responsible for publishing the newsletter for the caucus, maintaining communication between leadership and members, and overseeing social media efforts. The MWCPS holds its meetings at the annual meeting of the Midwest Political Science Association each spring in Chicago, IL.
Elizabeth Cartwright and colleagues publish "The Routledge Handbook of Medical Anthropology"
Dr. Elizabeth Cartwright and her colleagues Lenore Manderson (Brown) and Anita Hardon (University of Amsterdam) are pleased to announce that their book, "The Routledge Handbook of Medical Anthropology" has been published. Included in the volume, is a case study by Dr. Gesine Hearn, Department of Sociology, ISU.
