Philip Homan Publishes Paper
Associate Professor Philip Homan’s paper “American Horses for the South African War, 1899-1902,” has been published in the Spring 2016 issue of Arcadia: Online Explorations in Environmental History, the online journal of the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and the European Society for Environmental History. Arcadia, accessed via the Environment & Society Portal, the Rachel Carson Center’s digital history project (seehttp://www.environmentandsociety.org/), publishes short, peer-reviewed environmental histories.
Homan’s article is a version of the paper he presented at the Estonian Centre for Environmental History’s and the Tallinn University Institute of History’s “Animals in Transdisciplinary Environmental History” seminar in Läänemaa, Estonia, last May 13-15, 2015.
