Spring into Nutrition at ISU with a Health and Wellness Fair by Phi Upsilon Omicron Set March 12

POCATELLO - Idaho State University’s chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron will host a free health and wellness fair titled, “Spring into Nutrition,” on Saturday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The family event will be located in Albion Hall on the university campus, 1556 Terry St., Building 61.
Ms. Idaho and ISU alumna Pauline Hannan will teach fun fitness activities and there will be kid’s nutrition education at each booth. In addition, Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad will give a proclamation at 10:30 a.m.
Guests will be able to visit health booths and receive nutrition information about diabetes, heart health, healthful eating, senior health, and more from students and registered dietitian nutritionists. Cooking demos begin at 11 a.m. and noon, and a juicing demo will be at 1 p.m. In addition there will be a drawing for a Cuisinart juicer worth $125 and other prizes.
Parking will be available on the south side of the Holt Arena and marked with purple and yellow balloons.
