Loxterman, associate professor and assistant chair of the Idaho State University Department of Biological Sciences, will present the annual Phi Kappa Phi Scholarly Lecture "Genetic Tools for Species Conservation" at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Salmon River Suite of the Pond Student Union on the campus of Idaho State University, and the community is invited to attend.

POCATELLO – Chemistry Professor Robert Holman and Biological Sciences Professor Kenneth Rodnick, two researchers from Idaho State University, conducted interdisciplinary research in order to further understand the early chemical processes involved with diabetic complications.

POCATELLO-Idaho State University professor and director of nursing research, Mary Nies, is the recipient of a $50,000 funding award to study diabetes prevention in Idaho’s rural Latino communities.
