Volunteer for Spring/Summer 2025 Recruitment and Enrollment Events

As current members of our outstanding Bengal community, you have the greatest influence on whether a student chooses to attend Idaho State University! There are several ways to get involved and share your Bengal pride with our incoming class of students. Our Recruitment & Enrollment team invites you to mark your calendars and participate in three of our largest upcoming events below - ISU Academic Signing Days, Bengal Visit Day, and New Student Orientation.

ISU Academic Signing Days March & April
Similar to National Letter of Intent (NLI) signing days for student-athletes, we believe that it is equally important to recognize students for their academic achievements and intentions to pursue higher education. During these events, eligible students would sign their scholarship certificate, receive special ISU memorabilia, and be recognized at school during the day with their friends, family, faculty, staff, and peers cheering them on. Participating in the event does not mean students must commit to attending ISU; instead, it acknowledges their accomplishments and celebrates them receiving their scholarship offer.

The dates and times for these events are listed below, and we would love it if you could join us during these visits to cheer on, high-five, and celebrate these students with us. There is no official RSVP for those who would like to participate; just show up ready to show your Bengal pride! 

Treasure Valley:

• Renaissance High School: Wednesday, March 12 - 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
• Kuna High School: Wednesday, March 12 - 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
• Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School: Thursday, March 13 - 10:30 - 11:25 a.m.
• Columbia High School: Thursday, March 13 - 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Magic Valley:

• Raft River High School: Monday, March 17 - 1:40 - 2 p.m.
• Jerome High School: Tuesday, March 18 - 10 - 11 a.m.

Southeast South & North:

• Highland High School: Wednesday, March 19 - 8:37 - 9:37 a.m.
• American Falls High School: Wednesday, March 19 - 2 - 3 p.m.
• Grace Lutheran High School: Thursday, March 20 - 8:45 - 9:45 a.m.

Bengal Visit Day Saturday, April 12
As the largest recruitment event we host on campus, this open-house style event allows students and guests to explore campus entirely at their own pace. During the event, prospective students have the opportunity to visit departments, hear about our different resources available, chat with our student clubs/organizations, take a campus or housing tour, and so much more! We will need volunteers in all of these areas along with general volunteers to assist throughout the day, and would love your support!

7:30 a.m. Check-In & Breakfast
8:45 a.m. Opening, Welcome, & Agenda Overview
9:30 a.m. Open House Begins for Students & Guests

• Academic Exploration - Meet faculty and staff from several departments in their designated locations.
• Breakout Sessions - Learn more about paying for college, applying, next steps, and more on-campus resources available.
• Club/Organization Fair - Discover student clubs and other helpful student resources.
• Campus & Housing Tours - See the entire campus on a guided tour.
• And more!

2 p.m. End of Event

New Student Orientation April - August
This event is the final step for students to officially become Bengals! During this event, admitted students will hear important information, become familiar with campus, and get assistance registering for classes for the upcoming Fall semester. Event dates are listed below.
