Recruitment Newsletter: November & December 2024

With National College Application Month over, the Office of Admissions recruitment team continues to focus on personalized communication and follow-ups with potential students and relationship-building with high school counselors. 

Does that mean we are not out about the state? No. Our Admissions and Recruitment Coordinators still visited 43 high schools and attended eight college fairs in November and December. In addition, admissions conducted 228 individual tours and 7 campus group tours. With tours showcased during our four Experience the Roar events in October, we saw an increase of 86 tours from last year. We also had over 450,000 contacts with students in the past month through our various emails, texts, and print communications.  

We welcomed the new Spring 2025 students on campus for New Student Orientation in December. With two sessions in December and one in January, we are always excited to introduce new Bengals to the many resources at Idaho State University! Additionally, we hosted Idaho Scholars with a new one in Meridian this year. With 720 total attendees, we saw a 64% increase in attendance from 2023. In addition, we had a 90% student attendance rate!
