ISU Honors CAREER Grant Recipients

Idaho State University honored four outstanding faculty members who received the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award.
These exceptional researchers were honored during half-time of the ISU women's basketball game on February 8, which also celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
The recipients of this distinguished award are:
- Dr. Sarah Godsey, Department of Geosciences
- Dr. Devaleena Pradhan, Department of Biological Sciences
- Dr. Cori Jenkins, Department of Chemistry
- Dr. Anna Grinath, Department of Biological Sciences
Collectively, these exceptional researchers have secured over $6 million in funding to fuel innovative research projects and create valuable opportunities for student involvement and mentorship.
"We are incredibly proud of these four faculty members for earning this prestigious recognition," said Marty Blair, Vice President for Research and Economic Development. "Their success in securing CAREER awards speaks volumes about their dedication, talent, and the quality of research being conducted at Idaho State University. These awards will not only advance their individual fields but also provide invaluable opportunities for ISU students to participate in cutting-edge research.
The NSF CAREER program is the Foundation's most prestigious award, recognizing early-career faculty who demonstrate the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in their respective fields. CAREER awardees are expected to build a strong foundation for a lifetime of leadership, integrating research and education.
