ISU Export Control Policy
January 13, 2025
Export controls are laws and regulations that restrict the release of certain materials, information, and services to foreign persons abroad and within the United States. The U.S. imposes export controls to protect national
security interests and to promote foreign policy objectives. ISU recognizes the importance of complying with all U.S. export control regulations and is committed to full compliance with these regulations.

- Shipping material to a foreign country
- Sharing export-controlled information with a foreign person
- Performing a service for a sanctioned foreign entity
- Collaborating with foreign persons in a manner that violates export controls
- Traveling internationally to a sanctioned country
- Traveling internationally with export-controlled material or information
- Arranging for a foreign person to work within the U.S.
- Entering into a business agreement with a foreign entity
Detailed ISU export control information may be found in the ISU Export Controls Policy (ISUPP 7040) and the ISU Export Control Manual.
