Free Mental Health Services for Idaho State University Students

Idaho State University’s Counseling and Mental Health Center is dedicated to supporting the mental health of enrolled students by offering free, confidential, and professional counseling services. We are available to provide short-term, goal-oriented interventions designed to address various personal and academic concerns, such as:

  • Depressed or anxious mood
  • Test anxiety
  • Stress 
  • Sleep or eating concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Relationship problems
  • Other concerns

For students looking to begin counseling services or those in need of immediate assistance, the the counseling and mental health center is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the academic year, and from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the summer months. We also offer crisis services to students who require urgent care during our regular business hours.
