Campus Master Plan Approved
March 6, 2025

Over the past year and a half, the Campus Operations and Facilities Services teams have undertaken a comprehensive Campus Master Plan project.
This planning effort followed a structured, iterative approach, allowing us to deepen our understanding of Idaho State University’s needs and opportunities while planning for the strategic development and improvement of our campus. We are deeply appreciative of the feedback from faculty, staff, students, and alumni through surveys, pop-up events, town-halls, and stakeholder meetings throughout the project. The campus-wide participation resulted in a collaborative, data-driven plan that will improve strategic decision-making for the future of Idaho State University.
We are excited to announce that the Campus Master Plan has been officially approved by the State Board of Education and the Permanent Building Fund Advisory Council at their respective meetings in December, 2024. This plan will serve as a foundational guide, shaping construction and development efforts for years to come. As we work toward the goals established in the plan, we remain committed to developing a campus that meets the needs of today while preparing for the future—making ISU a place to learn, grow, and thrive.
We invite our campus community to explore our new Campus Master Plan website, where the formal Plan executive summary and technical documents are available. These Plan documents will be maintained as our roadmap for continued campus development.
