January 9, 2025

Brynli Nalder

Brynli Nalder is a senior psychology major and holds a peer advisor career path internship (CPI) with the Office of Academic Advising. As a peer advisor, Nalder assists and supports students one-on-one in reaching their academic goals. This includes advising during New Student Orientation events as well performing student outreach.

“Brynli’s willingness to assist students with their questions, concerns, or problems is apparent with each interaction she has,” explained Karly Olsen, management assistant for the Office of Enrollment Management and Nalder’s colleague. “Students feel comfortable and confident opening up to her and they trust her recommendations.”

Nalder’s natural talent of advising has not only helped her stay engaged in her academic program, it has also helped shape her professional path going forward.

“After graduation I would like to work as a professional academic advisor and eventually go on to receive my Master's degree,” stated Nalder. “This internship has allowed me to gain clarity on my future career plans.”

A Pocatello native, Nalder will graduate in May 2025. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her her family, friends, and cats as well as enjoying the great outdoors.
