Water Main Repair Update

As part of the deferred maintenance steam tunnel project on the north end of the Hutchinson Quadrangle, Facilities Services discovered a leak in a critical water main line. To repair the water main, Facilities Services, in partnership with the City of Pocatello, shut off water to the following buildings on the Pocatello campus beginning at approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Water has now been restored in the affected buildings including: 

Lillibridge Engineering Building
Physical Science Building
Chemistry Building
Business Administration Building
Frazier Hall
Liberal Arts Building

Facilities Services staff were on site and inspecting building infrastructure during the repair.
