"Wall Gym" To Close for HVAC Project

Student Rec Center Room 292 ("Wall Gym") will be closed March 18-22 and April 1-June 16, 2024.  The climbing wall and adjacent court spaces will be completely closed to activities during these dates.  Drop-in basketball remains available in the Tennis Center’s ¾ court whenever the space is available.

As part of the 5-year DPW project to improve HVAC in Reed and adjacent spaces, Facilities will be upgrading heating and cooling systems in the Student Recreation Center’s “Wall Gym” (Rec 292).  There will be an extended closure affecting indoor climbing and ISU students’ primary basketball court space.  This project will make the Wall Gym  climate-controlled space for future student activities–with AC during warm months and improved heating for winter.
