National Farmworker Awareness Week Events

Idaho State University's High School Equivalency Program and College Assistance Migrant Program are hosting a series of campus events to celebrate National Farmworker Awareness Week, March 25 - 29.
NFAW's events include a week long clothing drive, tabling sessions spreading awareness to our farmworkers, the showing of McFarland at the Bengal Theater, and a discussion panel addressing the importance of mental health within our farmworking community. These events honor our farmworkers and their contributions to the economy. All the sessions are free and open to all.
Below is a schedule of events:
- March 25 - 29, (Rendezvous Building 1st Floor / PSUB 2nd Floor): Long-sleeve shirt drive
- March 25, 11 AM - 2 PM, (PSUB): Tabling session spreading awareness
- March 26, 11 AM - 2 PM, (PSUB): Tabling session spreading awareness
- March 26, 6 - 8 PM, (Bengal Theater): McFarland Showing
- March 27, 11 AM - 2 PM, (PSUB): Tabling session spreading awareness
- March 27, 12:30 - 2 PM, (Bengal Cafe): Farmworker Awareness Discussion Panel
- March 29, 11 AM - 2 PM, (PSUB): Tabling session spreading awareness
