April 29, 2024
Following nearly a decade of dedicated service to the Idaho State University Alumni Association, Ryan Sargent assumed a new role as the Associate Vice President for Government and Community Relations and Special Assistant to the President this week. In his new capacity, Ryan will champion ISU's priorities across various governmental levels and lead endeavors to enhance community relations. His responsibilities will entail forging closer ties with the legislature, collaborating with community partners, and working alongside President Wagner to expand ISU's influence beyond the campus borders, fostering new partnerships and bridging connections.
Reflecting on this milestone, Ryan expressed his gratitude for ISU. “Idaho State University holds a special place in my heart, and I'm deeply grateful for the profound impact it’s had on my life,” stated Ryan. “Throughout my nine years in the Alumni Office and University Advancement, I have witnessed firsthand the unwavering dedication of our alumni community and the vital role they play in advancing our university's mission. This moment is bittersweet, but I look forward to the new opportunities ISU continues to provide me in my career.”
