The Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) is calling on dedicated staff and faculty to become vital contributors to our investigative and decision-making team. As a member of the Civil Rights Compliance Team, you will play a crucial role within our institution by ensuring adherence to Federal Civil Rights Laws, State Laws, and ISU Policies.

Responsibilities:
As a team member, you may serve in the following roles:
- Advisor: Support a party during the grievance procedure.
- Investigator: Conduct fact-finding and report on alleged policy violations.
- Decision Maker: Analyze evidence and determine if a violation occurred and appropriate sanctions.
How to Get Involved:
Employees interested in joining the Civil Rights Compliance Team should first coordinate with their supervisor before registering. Classified staff will be compensated for time worked and must coordinate with their supervisors to determine whether this time will be managed as work hour adjustments, compensatory time, or paid overtime.
