Idaho State University and On Semiconductor Foundation to offer STEM Academy to Students Age 10-18 with Autism

The Idaho State University College of Education will be hosting a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) focused academy for middle and high school students, ages 10-18, with autism. Thanks to a $23,000 grant provided by the ON Semiconductor Foundation, a Giving Now program at onsemi, students are invited to participate and take part in STEM-based projects such as 2D and 3D printing, robotics and coding, invasive plants and biomes, and data collection and research free of charge.
The STEM Academy will be offered June 24 -28, 2024 on the Idaho State University Pocatello campus. Professors and students from the College of Education’s Department of Teaching and Educational Studies will work with students to strengthen their understanding and knowledge of STEM. No previous experience is required.
