FY24 Flexible Spending Important Dates

The end of fiscal year 2024 benefits plan year is quickly approaching. With that in mind we would like to make sure all employees contributing to the health care and/or day care flexible spending account (FSA) are aware of some important dates.

Health Care/Limited Purpose Health Care FSA

Expenses must be incurred by 6/30/2024 and claims must be received by 10/31/2024.

$610 will transfer from fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024) into fiscal year 2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025) even if you chose not to re-enroll in the FSA for FY2025. Employees will have access to these funds through the new fiscal year as long as they are still actively a benefited state employee. Any unused funds over $610 will be forfeited

 

Day Care FSA

Expenses must be incurred by 09/15/2024 and claims must be received by Navia no later than 10/31/2024.

This plan has a grace period, which allows extra time to incur expenses after the end of the plan year. To make sure all of your funds are used, expenses incurred during the grace period will automatically be applied to the previous plan year. Any unused funds will be forfeited
