Exciting News: Panopto Video Content Management Platform Coming Soon!

Idaho State University will soon be implementing the Video Content Management platform - Panopto, which will integrate seamlessly in both Canvas and Moodle. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility, streamline video management, and address the challenges posed by the recent implementation of storage limits on Google Drive.
Panopto offers a comprehensive solution for recording, storing, and sharing video content securely. With Panopto, you'll have the ability to:
- Easily create and upload videos from various sources, including lectures, presentations, and screencasts.
- Enhance accessibility through features like closed captioning and searchable transcripts.
- Organize and manage your video library with customizable folders and tags.
- Collaborate seamlessly by sharing videos with specific individuals or groups, both within and outside the university community.
- Access content anytime, anywhere, on any device, ensuring flexibility and convenience for both creators and viewers.
- Seamlessly add videos, and add interactivity to them, in Canvas.
We recognize that this transition may raise questions, and we assure you that ISU’s Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC) is here to support you and facilitate a smooth adoption process.
