Idaho State University's School of Nursing is offering a question and answer session about Idaho's first Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) program, set to accept its first cohort of students in Fall 2025.
Interested partnering organizations, news media, or prospective students, are invited to join an informational (question and answer) session on the ISU Meridian campus on Tuesday, July 9 6-7:30 p.m. room 845.
Graduates of the program will be prepared to provide a full range of anesthesia services to meet the growing needs of Idaho's diverse population. The program is expected to receive accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) and start its first cohort of students in Fall 2025 on the ISU Meridian campus. This will be a three-year program within the ISU School of Nursing. Graduates will receive a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) degree.
