BR&S seeks submissions for 2024 issue

Black Rock & Sage, ISU’s student journal of creative work, welcomes submissions of short fiction, photography, painting, poetry, costume design, musical compositions, creative nonfiction, sculpture, music performances, textiles, monologues, one-act plays, graphic novels, and more for its next annual issue. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit work. The deadline for the 2024 magazine is February 14.

Black Rock & Sage aims to publish the best literature, music, performance, and art of all kinds produced by current ISU students. Poetry by undergraduates and all prose will be considered for our two prizes that include cash awards. Full guidelines for all artistic disciplines are available on our website.
