Be a Bengal Winners Announced

April 15, 2024

As part of the recent Employee Appreciation Week celebration, ISU had the opportunity to host our annual Be A Bengal award reception to honor our 2023 nominees and award our winners for the 2023 Be a Bengal Awards.

Throughout the year, the Be A Bengal employee recognition program honors our faculty and staff who have been commended for their extraordinary efforts in exemplifying one of the four characteristics of trust, compassion, stability, and hope.

Over the past five years, the Be a Bengal program has honored and celebrated more than 425 nominees across the 4 categories. Throughout 2023, the Be a Bengal program received 110 nominations recognizing faculty and staff for their incredible efforts.

Please join us in celebrating our 2023 Be a Bengal Nominees and the top award recipients in each category:

We continue to see tremendous effort and action from our faculty and staff in support of these 4 characteristics which exemplify our shared values. As we look forward to the conclusion of another successful academic year, we encourage you to reflect on your experiences with colleagues from across the university. If you have had any experiences with faculty or staff that you feel exemplify trust, compassion, stability, or hope, please continue to share them with us.
