What Does the Future Look Like for Idaho’s Economy?

The Idaho State University College of Business invites industry leaders, business owners, students and community members to the second annual Idaho Economic Outlook Symposium.
The event, happening January 24 from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the ICCU Bengal Alumni Center, will cover topics including housing, real estate, labor and growth opportunities. Personal income forecasts, population growth, tax revenue forecasts and state expenditures will also be discussed.The event will conclude with keynote speaker Robert Spendlove, Senior Economist from Zions Bank, presenting “Idaho's Economic Frontier: Opportunities and Challenges Ahead.”
“Economics impacts virtually every aspect of our lives and is the backbone of our society,” said Idaho State University Associate Professor of Economics Iris Buder. “This symposium will shed light on critical economic indicators (such as GDP and employment trends), sector-specific outlooks, and forecasts.”
Attendance, which includes lunch, is $10 for community members, $5 for ISU faculty and staff and free for ISU students. Proceeds from the event will go towards scholarships for ISU students.
