Museum of Natural History to host exhibition open house

The Idaho Museum of Natural History (IMNH) on Idaho State University’s Pocatello campus is hosting an exhibition open house for student work. The open house on Oct. 16 from 6 to 7:30 pm will feature Zack Beal's exhibition, "There is hope from the sea..." and Hannah Clawson's exhibition, "The Art of Science."
“There is hope from the sea…” a photo-ethnography of Zack Beal, graduate student of the ISU Department of Anthropology and Languages under the direction of Dr. Kate Reedy, explores the history and culture of Pacific cod fishing in the Shumagin Islands of Alaska.
“The Art of Science” exhibition is made up of biological illustrations by Hannah Clawson, a senior studying biological sciences under the direction of Dr. Colden Baxter, professor.
Zack and Hannah will each provide opening remarks and will be on hand for a Q&A with participants and light refreshments will be provided.
