Jeremy Green Named Chief Campus Administrator for Eastern and Southern Idaho

September 19, 2024

Jeremy Green has accepted the position of Chief Campus Administrator for Eastern and Southern Idaho.

This newly created position will promote the growth and development of the Idaho Falls and Twin Falls campuses by expanding relationships with faculty, staff, students, industry and education partners, and community constituents, as well as supporting academic program delivery, research support, community engagement, and campus operations. With Green’s expertise and experience, he is well-positioned to make a significant impact in Idaho Falls and Twin Falls.

Green joins Idaho State University with nearly 20 years of higher education experience in outreach and engagement, community development, and branch campus administration. Most recently, he served as the director of the Central Oregon Community College (COCC) Madras campus while simultaneously working as the college’s capital projects manager. In these roles, Green led a $23 million campus expansion, bringing health careers and early childhood education programs to Madras, Oregon, and surrounding rural communities. While at COCC, Green led strategic initiatives to connect communities with college workforce development programs, served on COCC’s government relations team, and provided administrative and operational leadership for instructional, student support services and facilities management for two of COCC’s branch campuses.

Before his time at COCC, Green worked for Oregon State University (OSU) and the University of Wyoming. At OSU, he served as an associate professor in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences, working for the Cooperative Extension Service with a focus on connecting rural communities to research-based best practices in community youth development. At the University of Wyoming, Green served as an assistant professor in the College of Agriculture, the County Director of Cooperative Extension in Laramie County, Wyoming, and as the University’s Statewide Military Liaison for community youth development.

Green received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Vanguard University of Southern California and earned a Master of Arts in Community Youth Development from Michigan State University. He is currently earning a PhD in Leadership and Organizational Development from Johnson University. He is dedicated to linking people and communities to higher education to grow community resiliency.

Green and his wife Daleena are the parents of three teenage children. As a family, they enjoy all things related to the outdoors, loving people and serving their communities.

President Wagner would like to thank Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications Miriam Dance and the entire search committee for conducting a very thorough search process that included faculty, staff, student and community participation.

Green will begin his new role on December 1, 2024, and we look forward to welcoming him to Idaho State University.
