ISU Mountain West Marching Band Invitational Brings 18 High School Bands from Idaho and Utah

October 7, 2024

The annual ISU Mountain West Marching Band Invitational will be held at the ICCU Dome on Saturday, October 19. Eighteen high school bands from Idaho and Utah will

perform for judges and an enthusiastic audience. “Holding the festival in the ICCU Dome gives the students an opportunity to perform without any weather or noise elements that might be present at a high school football game. It’s also a great chance to focus on their artistic creations and celebrate the work they all do,” says Thomas Kloss, director of the ISU Bengal Marching Band.

“The Mountain West Band Festival is one that I have looked forward to every year since being in high school and competing at it, to now being a part of the Bengal Marching Band and helping run and perform at it. It’s a great way to learn from and enjoy other marching performances from around Southeast Idaho. It’s a major event for all involved," said ISU Student Hailey Anderson.
