ISU GeoClub's Mineral ID Fest

The Mineral ID Fest is the perfect opportunity to learn more about your favorite rocks from professors and students in ISU's Geosciences department.

This event, November 13 from 6-9 p.m. in Physical Science Building Room 220, is intended to answer pressing questions about rock, mineral, and fossil identification within the community and to involve people of all ages in the world of geoscience! Event participants will have access to tools and resources to aid them in future rock identification. The department will also be hosting various activities that foster involvement and interest in local geology. Please bring your most interesting rocks, minerals, and/or fossils and we'll do our best to answer any questions you might have about them.
