ISU Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi Achieves Gold Status

The Idaho State University (Eta Lambda) chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has been recognized as a Gold chapter for their work during the 2023-2024 academic year.

This honor, accompanied by a $500 award, acknowledges that ISU’s chapter of the organization for financial information professionals far exceeded the baseline requirements of the organization, excelling in academics, professionalism and ethical leadership.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the entire Eta Lambda chapter and their leadership team,” said Dr. Patricia Poli, President of Beta Alpha Psi. “This achievement is a great source of pride for Beta Alpha Psi and undoubtedly reflects the high standards and commitment to excellence that are hallmarks of [Idaho State University].”

“As an organization, we are honored to receive this recognition and are proud to represent the

College of Business at Idaho State University,” said Lara Maccabee, president of the Eta Lambda chapter. “We would like to thank the entire accounting faculty and specifically our faculty advisors, Brody Fitch and Dave Bagley, for their guidance, constant support, and mentorship to both our officer team and Beta Alpha Psi Members. We would also like to thank our club members in both Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Club for their participation, desire to promote our organization, and their enthusiasm for learning. Lastly, we want to thank the College of Business for the constant support and for providing us with the necessary resources to accomplish our club goals.”
