Dr. Amanda Eller Chosen to Receive NRMERA Exemplary Service Award

Dr. Amanda Eller from the College of Education Teaching and Educational Studies Department was presented with the Exemplary Service Award at the Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association's annual conference in October. Candidates for the Exemplary Service Award have to have held an officer position and/or contributed significantly in other service to NRMERA, and been visibly active in NRMERA for no fewer than 10 years.

Amanda first attended NRMERA in 2012 as a graduate student, and has attended every year since. She served as the Idaho Representative for several years until she was elected President-Elect in 2019. She served as NRMERA President in 2020-2021, navigating the organization through COVID. As president, Amanda hosted the 2021 NRMERA Conference in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho. She then served as Immediate Past-President, followed by serving as Webmaster/Communications Manager, which she continues to do. Amanda also serves on NRMERA's Executive and Editorial Boards.
