College of Education Faculty Presents on AI Integration at ION Power-Up Conference

Kaywin Cottle will lead an engaging break-out session titled “Leveraging AI for Out-of-School Programs,” exploring how AI can revolutionize the way out-of-school programs operate and engage with students.
Kaywin Cottle, M.Ed., teaching and educational studies clinical instructor for Idaho State University in Twin Falls , will be a featured breakout speaker at the Idaho Out-of-School Network Power-Up Conference, taking place at JUMP this week in Boise, Idaho.
The conference, hosted by ION, provides invaluable support for out-of-school and summer programs, connecting families and enhancing access to high-quality youth programs across the state.
Having embarked on her AI journey through the ISTE GM AI Explorations initiative, Cottle has become a passionate advocate for using AI to drive positive change. Her presentation covers a range of AI applications including data management and analysis, communication optimization, targeted marketing strategies, and personalized tutoring.
Participants can expect to gain practical insights into how AI-powered solutions can enhance program effectiveness, improve student engagement, and provide more customized learning experiences. Cottle’s session will offer hands-on strategies for leveraging AI tools to achieve these goals.
