Volunteers Needed for Spring Commencement

Our Pocatello commencement is Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Reed Gym. Commencement is the culmination of our mission. It is our chance, as a campus community, to celebrate and honor the hard work and accomplishments of our students. 

Because this is such a large-scale event, we need volunteers to help make the day run smoothly for our graduates and their guests. Volunteer roles will include greeters, ushers, processional support, ceremony flow, and more. 

If you would like to volunteer, please complete the Commencement Volunteer Sign Up form by April 7. Volunteers will receive instructions and will have the opportunity to attend a pre-commencement walkthrough the week of commencement.

If you wish to volunteer for this event, please coordinate with your supervisor prior to signing up. Classified staff will be compensated for time worked during commencement and must coordinate with their supervisors to determine whether this time will be managed as work hour adjustments, compensatory time, or paid overtime.
