Second Annual Advising Awards Ceremony Honors Service to Students and Community

On Thursday, June 1, the Advising Community at Idaho State hosted its 2nd annual awards ceremony.

The Annual Advising Awards recognize individuals who work with, for, and in favor of students in an academic advising capacity, and those who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the profession of academic advising. Niki Cook, Athletic Advisor for the Office of Academic Advising, received the Outstanding New Advisor Award. Ashley Larson, College of Business, received the Outstanding Advising—Primary Role Award. The Outstanding Advising—Faculty Advisor Award went to Dr. Thomas Kloss, Professor of Music and Coordinator for Music Education, and Kerry Larsen, Military Education Benefits Chief, Office of the Registrar, was recognized with the Advocate in Advising: Friend to the Community Award.
