Recruitment Update March 2023

March was a whirlwind for all things Admissions! We launched a new and successful event, had tons of communication with students, and visited high schools all across the great state of Idaho.

During this month, our Admissions team was in full swing with Idaho’s Higher Education Tour. Our team visited with Juniors from over 52 high schools to share all that Idaho State has to offer. During the month of April, our Admissions Team will be finishing up Idaho’s Higher Education Tour right in our backyard, Southeast Idaho. Outside of the thousands of interactions we had with students off campus and around the state, we also had a lot of students on campus in the month of March with 136 individualized campus visits and 19 group tours. We are so grateful for the faculty and staff that were willing to meet with our prospective students, even during Spring Break!  

 We also hosted our Inaugural event, ISU Academic Signing Day, in March. This event acknowledges and showcases academic excellence similarly to National Letter of Intent days. We kicked things off at American Falls High School on March 1st and with 77% of our scholarship recipients signing, it was a huge success! Four more schools followed with Century High School, Pocatello High School, Renaissance High School, and Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School. With two more ISU Academic Signing Days in April, we are excited to celebrate even more future Bengals!     

Lastly, with less than two weeks till Bengal Visit Day, we are at our largest crowd to date with over 2,000 students, parents, and counselors ready to come to campus for this exciting event!
