July Food Drives Stock Benny's Pantry

Two Benny’s Pantry locations benefited from food drives in July.
The Division of Campus Operations, Finance, and Information Technology Services held a division-wide food and cash drive for Benny's Pantry located on the Pocatello campus. Patience Ternus, Executive Assistant for Campus Operations, orchestrated this event, which brought in over 774 pounds of goods and over $300 in cash donations.
“Everything we do at ISU is student-focused, so doing a raffle for Benny’s Pantry was on par with that mindset,” Ternus said.
Employees in Meridian also hosted a food drive for Meridian’s Benny’s Pantry. In two weeks, they collected more than 200 pounds of food, with the College of Pharmacy bringing in the most items to win the friendly competition.
