ITRC Online Drop-In Hour Set July 26
July 24, 2023
Are you new to ISU and preparing to build a course in Moodle ISU for the first time? Are you a seasoned instructor looking to refine elements of your course? Are you curious whether the Setting Sail with Moodle workshop is a good fit for you or others in your department?
Register for the ITRC Online Drop-In Hour to join the Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC) on July 26 from 2- 3 p.m. In this open-format Q&A session, we’ll answer these and any other questions about Moodle ISU.
In case you haven’t yet heard about Setting Sail with Moodle, this asynchronous online workshop is introductory, self-paced, and will teach you the foundations of Moodle ISU. It is open to all ISU faculty and staff.
Setting Sail with Moodle lets you work through the material at your own pace. This makes it a great option for busy ISU faculty and staff who want to learn more about Moodle ISU without having to commit to a specific time or schedule.
Here’s what previous participants have said about their experience:
“I really enjoyed the opportunity to have a structured introduction to Moodle. I think the self-paced option is perfect. I wouldn't have done as well/enjoyed it as much if it was a set time and I was following along with instruction. This was the perfect way to work at my own pace.”
If you’re interested in taking the workshop itself, please sign up using the Setting Sail with Moodle ISU Online Registration Form. For questions and more information, contact the ITRC via email at itrc@isu.edu or by phone at (208) 282-5880.
