ISU Early College Program Honors School Counselors and Advisors
February 13, 2023
In honor of National School Counseling Week, the Early College Program at Idaho State University surprised seven school counselors and college and career advisors who assist students with registering for dual credit classes, requesting funding for classes and advising them along their post-secondary path. Each honoree was given an ISU swag bag, balloons and donuts to share with their colleagues.
“We truly would not be able to help the number of students that we do without the assistance of our partners in the high schools” said Chelsie Rauh, Early College Program Director. “They put in tireless effort to assure that students complete the important tasks involved in taking college courses and more importantly that they are being purposeful in scheduling the correct classes.”
The Early College Program at Idaho State University is celebrating their 29th year of offering quality college courses to high school students throughout the state of Idaho. Today, over 4,000 high students are taking course work through ISU that will assist them in completing their post-secondary education.
